Big Picture

What does the world look like when you step back far enough to see more than your own corner of it? Big Picture asks participants to contribute an image — something that, for them, speaks to something larger than the everyday. A landscape, a crowd, a sky, a pattern. Whatever holds, for them, a sense of scale.

Each image is animated and brought gently to life, then placed into a grid that grows and reorganises with every new arrival. The grid has no fixed shape — it finds its own proportions as the collection expands, a mosaic that reflects the breadth of what people see when they look up and outward. No single image dominates. Each one is equal to every other.
